Mr Shyamsunder Kolvekar is a globally-renowned consulant cardiothoracic surgeon based in central London. He specialises in coronary arterial bypass grafting, valve repair and aortic valve replacement alongside chest wall deformities and lung cancer. Other specialist interests of Mr Kolvekar include open beating-heart surgery, cardiac arrhythmias and minimally-invasive cardiac surgery. He is also interested in ischaemic pre-conditioning of the heart and has thoracic practice in pneumothorax and pleural effusion.

Mr Kolvekar is highly qualified and is a senior lecturer at University College London. He lectures and teaches the NUSS procedure and connate minimally invasive surgery to surgeons from across the world. He also has research published in various international peer-reviewed journals and books. Mr Gaurav Kumar is a top consultant ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon based in Brentwood and Ilford. Mr Sumith Perera is a highly experienced consultant ophthalmic surgeon in Reading who specialises in cataract surgery and refractive procedures. His areas of expertise include presbyopia, dry eye, blepharitis and emergency eye care. He is highly skilled in using refractive lasers and is a UK pioneer in femtosecond lasers for cataract and refractive surgery.

Mr Perera graduated from the University of Colombo and won a prestigious World Health Organisation scholarship to study ophthalmology at the Institute of Ophthalmology London. After becoming a consultant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, she became involved in the delivery of specialist services including a gastrointestinal motility, food allergy, inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal failure. As well as being a JAG certified paediatric endoscopist, she is also heavily involved in research and was awarded an innovation grant to develop mobile app technology to aid patient reporting to clinical teams.

Dr Thangarajah has since set up Kids London gastroenterology centre where she exclusively treats digestive problems and promotes nutritional health and wellbeing in children. Within the centre, children have access to renowned London specialists such as paediatric surgeons, paediatric hepatologists, specialist paediatric dieticians and paediatric clinical psychologists.

Miss Lamiese Ismail is an accomplished consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist specialising in menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, vulval problems, and (medical management of) endometriosis in Oxford. Not long after, she achieved her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2014.

Miss Ismail continues to carry out research in her field. She has had many papers published in peer-reviewed journals. In addition, Miss Ismail is an active leader in educating future doctors by previously taking on the role of a college tutor with the RCOG, where she helped to teach and train junior doctors at the Women's Centre.

Currently, Miss Ismail practises at her private clinic with Nuffield Health while also working with the NHS. Within her practice, she puts a priority on enhancing patient experience, especially in an outpatient setting. She attains this by being an expert in both open and keyhole (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) procedures.
